If you want to travel by air, the nearest airport is Dehradun, which is around 150 kilometers away. From there, you can easily reach Lansdowne by taxi or private vehicle.
For people who like train journeys, the nearest railway station is Kotdwar. Trains are available here from many cities of the country. Taxi and local transport facilities are also available from the station.

The Garhwali Museum felt like the most special part of this journey. This museum is dedicated to the bravery and courage of the Garhwal Rifles Regiment. Here, you can see army uniforms, medals, rifles, and old photographs.
After reading the stories of soldiers’ bravery in the museum, the heart filled with pride. Here, history is not only in books, but can be felt on every wall.
⛪ Unique Peace of St. John’s Church
St. John’s Church is one of the most beautiful and historical places in Lansdowne. This church was built in 1936 and it is the only functional Roman Catholic church here.
Built in British colonial style, this church feels very peaceful and calming from inside. While going inside for prayer, shoes have to be removed.
