Eight Continents Launches Legacy Hotels at Great India Travel Bazaar 2025

The global hospitality brand Eight Continents Hotels & Resorts has officially launched its new brand, Legacy Hotels, at the prestigious Great India Travel Bazaar (GITB) 2025. The event took place in Jaipur and was inaugurated by Union Minister for Tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, alongside Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

This launch marks a significant step for the Indian hospitality industry, as Legacy Hotels aims to bring a new dimension to luxury by blending cultural heritage with modern comfort. According to Eight Continents CEO and founder Clinton Farvez, the Legacy Hotels brand is focused on creating boutique heritage experiences that celebrate India’s royal legacy and timeless architecture.

Celebrating Indian Heritage with Modern Comfort

Legacy Hotels by Eight Continents is designed to reflect India’s rich cultural history through its architecture, cuisine, and hospitality. The brand promises to deliver an authentic experience of India’s royal past while offering world-class facilities to guests. The properties will be located in key tourist destinations across India, including Rajasthan, Gujarat, Kerala, and Uttarakhand.

Each Legacy Hotel will focus on offering unique regional experiences, from traditional Rajasthani hospitality to tranquil backwaters in Kerala. The goal is to support sustainable tourism and revive local economies by restoring heritage buildings and employing local communities.

Strategic Vision for Indian Tourism

With this launch, Eight Continents aims to align its vision with India’s rapidly growing tourism sector. The GITB 2025 was the perfect platform for this announcement, as it brought together tour operators, hoteliers, and global investors under one roof.

The brand intends to tap into both domestic and international markets by offering curated heritage stays. “Legacy Hotels is more than a hospitality brand – it’s a tribute to India’s glorious past,” said Farvez during the launch.

Looking Ahead

The first Legacy Hotel is expected to open its doors in Jaipur by late 2025, with more properties in the pipeline. This initiative is expected to boost tourism infrastructure and create new benchmarks in India’s luxury hotel segment.

With Legacy Hotels, Eight Continents is not only expanding its portfolio but also contributing to India’s vision of becoming a global tourism hub. This launch is a strong example of innovation and cultural preservation coming together to shape the future of travel in India.
