🚆 Barog Tunnel – Famous Attraction
Barog is famous for Tunnel Number 33.
It is the longest and straightest tunnel on Kalka–Shimla railway route.

📖 Story Behind Barog Tunnel
In 1903, a British engineer started digging the tunnel from both sides.
Because of a calculation mistake, both sides did not meet.
He was fined 1 rupee by British government.
Due to insult, he committed suicide.
Later, the tunnel was rebuilt correctly. Today it is the most famous tunnel on this railway route.
